Microsoft's first Iraq Distributor

Microsoft's manager of Business Development for Emerging Markets, Rajai S. El-Khadem, said the software giant had chosen the Baghdad-based Legend Lands Co. as its Iraqi partner.

"This is a big step for Microsoft and for Iraq," said El-Khadem. "As of today Microsoft will be officially and locally represented in Iraq ... to provide Microsoft licenses, support and services for our clients and resellers."

"I spent quite a bit of time poking around in here this morning, just looking at the engineering and the layout, and I'm very pleased," Pettit said from the brilliant white compartment.

To protect against possible debris, Pettit wore goggles, a mask and a caver's light as he slid open the hatch of the newest addition to the International Space Station. The complex sailed 250 miles above the Tasman Sea, just west of New Zealand, as he and his crewmates made their grand entrance. The atmosphere was clean; no dirt or other particles were floating around.

Facebook is, apparently, building a phone.
Naturally, details are scarce. However, the reason(s) why Facebook might want to do this are not. The company needs to make more money. There you have it.
Some speculate that Facebook will scrabble around in the lower-end of the market with Google. Others speculate that the heart of this alleged new mobile device will be a camera.
But let's look at it from the human being's point of view. What could Facebook place before your eyes that would make you come over with such deep desire that you wouldn't be able to resist?
The first, and perhaps most obvious thing, would be that the company would give this phone away. Yes, for free. It would say: "Hey, we're always been a fabulously free service. So here's a fabulously free phone. There's just one catch: you have to watch some ads before you use it. Oh, and listen to some ads while you use it."

Massive Cyber attack in middle east

The malware -- dubbed Flame -- has been operation since 2010 and appears to be a state sponsored, Kaspersky Labs said today, but it was not sure of its origins. Flame is designed to steal information about targeted systems and stored files as well as computer display contents and audio conversations.

"The complexity and functionality of the newly discovered malicious program exceed those of all other cyber menaces known to date," Kaspersky Labs said in statement announcing the malware's discovery.
The virus is about 20 times the size of Stuxnet, malware that targeted the controls of an Iranian nuclear facility. The largest concentration of infected machines is in Iran, followed by Israel/Palestine region, Sudan, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Egypt
